In November 2007 the structure of football administration and operation in Nelson underwent some significant changes with the setting up of a new body, The Nelson Bays Football District Executive, which effectively encompasses all the operations and responsibilities of three formerly separate organisations – Nelson Junior Football Assn Inc, Nelson Football Assn and Nelson Women’s Football Assn.

 

A General Manager has been appointed, since that time, to oversee the day to day running of football in the Nelson District with this also providing a direct line of communication to Mainland Football.

 

Nelson Bays Football employs experienced Football Coaches to deliver high quality coaching programmes to Junior Footballers of all ages, at various venues around the District.

 

In 2009 Nelson Bays Football developed and approved its Strategic Plan for Football in the region, closely aligning itself to those plans of Mainland Football and New Zealand Football. To view our Strategic Plan click here.
